How it works
Accents are folded to plain letters, "&" becomes "and", everything else that is not a letter or digit becomes a hyphen, and the slug is trimmed at a word boundary.

Should I put the year in my URL?
Usually not. Keep the year in the title, which you can update, and leave it out of the slug so the URL never goes stale.
Can I change a slug after publishing?
Yes, but add a 301 redirect from the old URL so links and rankings carry over.
