How it works
Density is occurrences ÷ total words × 100. Phrases are counted as overlapping n-grams within sentences, so a two-word phrase never spans a full stop.

What is a good keyword density?
There is no target number. Use the keyword where it reads naturally — usually in the title, first paragraph and a subheading. Much above 2–3% tends to read as stuffing.
